From inside the cavernous din and faintly blinking lights of synth-rack console comes a voice emanating within. For a genre much associated with utopian or dystopian visions of the future, Chicago synth stylemaster Kyle Landstra communicates through machinery to imagine a world as it is. A world full of random connections that turn into solid arpeggios of ever ascending light, reaching tones that extend out like tendrils towards the sun shining through the canopy. Mr. Landstra, just off a victory lap of releasing a beautiful four-cassette collection on Sacred Phrases has created this track of nine minute bliss, encapsulating some of that grandeur of cyclical ebbing and flowing and concentrated aural warmth.

Like always, all proceeds from the sale of Heligator singles will go to the Malindza Refugee Camp in Swaziland, Africa where we've been able to sustain the library for close to three years through people like you purchasing and experiencing experimental music. Thanks!!
